Prudence completed her double degree in Fine Art and Education from Newcastle University in 2007. For the past decade she has dedicated herself to special education, currently working part time as Assistant Principal at a local Newcastle special school. Whilst on maternity leave she found herself with time to dedicate to her first passion – painting.
Predominantly working with acrylics on canvas, Prudence is influenced by nature, architecture, design, music and fashion. She creates abstract paintings that vary from fervent strokes of colour to more controlled geometric and organic forms. Her works are complimented by custom Tasmanian Oak frames made by her husband.
