ABOUT TEGAN LLOYD

Tegan is a painter living in Melbourne, Australia.

A self taught artist, she creates contemporary abstract works using mostly acrylic and oil pastel on linen and textured artists paper. 

Inspiration for her original paintings extend from daydreams, sketching, travel, fashion, portraits, textiles and nature. She has a love of beautiful colours and textures, and constantly discovers the beauty in the little things around her daily. Her love of fashion editorials and photography see her incorporating colour trends and figures into her work. She finds balance in sketching daily, especially female forms and floral studies which can be found etched in recent paintings.

A mother of 3 young boys, she spends most of her time outside of the studio at the park, exploring down the coast and enjoying family time.
